The Animal Spirit of the Month: The Turtle Spirit
This month, the Turtle Spirit has appeared, reminding us that true safety comes from within and that our worth is defined by our own standards, not external pressures. In a world that often demands we rush or conform, the Turtle invites us to slow down, trust our own current, and carry our sanctuary with us wherever we go.
This might manifest as setting healthier boundaries, releasing the need to please everyone, or finally taking that steady, small step toward a goal you’ve been doubting. It is a call to stop racing and start honouring your own rhythm.
This month Highlight
As a sensitive/empath, I know how easy it is to get impacted by other's mood and silent energy screams. And while I was watching Kiko, my neighbour's turtle, entering the shop I felt pretty inspired.
One of the first message I got was to set healthy boundaries and from that came a series of three T-Shirts to use as mantra, statement or not to self.
The first one is "I Follow My Flow, Not Other's Tides." It is a good reminder that you don't need to be the emotional sponge, care taker or mood stabilizer, nor be dragged into someone else drama if you don't want to.
The second affirmation is "Protected. Not Closed." This one is to remember that even if you set boundaries, you don't need to wear an armour to keep you safe. Express your no, but allowing the yes that makes you experience and feel love.
And the third is "My History Is Not My Destiny!" That is the perfect fit if you decided to move on from past wounds and trauma so that they don't define your today's reactions and actions (aka, decided to work on yourself, forgive, let go, heal and maybe start a form of therapy).

Fresh From the Atelier
This month, is a gentle dance with the heat, the wind and the AC. You can easily find me in the morning crafting bracelets, painting handmade coasters or weaving necklaces just outside my shop. But as soon as the temerature is going up, I shelter in the cool to work on some website disign and content for clients, earings or casting batches of turtle magnets and soap holders.
