At My Tiny Sanctuary, located at Leof. Aphaia 222, 18010 Agia Marina Aegina, Greece, we want you to be completely satisfied with your soulful creations. However, in accordance with European Union Directive 2011/83/EU and Greek Consumer Law (Presidential Decree 131/2003), we have established the following policy for returns and refunds.
1. Your Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Rule)
As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order. You do not need to provide a reason for the return.
To exercise this right:
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery at shop@mytinysanctuary.com.
- Include your Order Number and the items you wish to return.
- Items must be returned in their original condition: unused, unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact.
2. Items That Cannot Be Returned
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following items unless they are defective:
- Pierced Earrings: If the hygiene seal/tag has been removed or broken.
- Candles & Incense: If the product has been lit, used, or if the packaging seal is broken.
- Custom or Personalized Items: Products made specifically to your order (e.g., bespoke commissions) where production began with your explicit consent.
- Digital Downloads: If the file has been accessed or downloaded.
3. Return Shipping Costs
- Change of Mind: If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee the receipt of the returned item and items will be refunded only upon reception.
- Defective or Wrong Items: If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, My Tiny Sanctuary will cover all shipping costs. Please contact us immediately at shop@mytinysanctuary.com with photos of the issue, and we will provide instructions.
4. How to Return an Item

Please clearly mark the package as "Returned Goods" to avoid customs issues (for non-EU returns, though we primarily ship within EU).
5. Refund Process
Once we receive your return and inspect it:
- Approval: We will notify you via email whether your return is approved or rejected.
- Timing: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
- Credit Card/Stripe: Please allow 3-5 business days for your bank to reflect the credit.
- IRIS/Bank Transfer: We will initiate the transfer to the IBAN you provide.
- Shipping Costs: The original cost of shipping (if any) is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or item, please return the original item for a refund (following the steps above) and place a new order on our website.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging our handmade items. However, if your item arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at shop@mytinysanctuary.com
- Provide your Order Number and clear photos of the damage and packaging.
- We will immediately arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs you paid.
