Whale Spirit Series: Curiosity Leading Light Coded Acrylic Painting

The Whale Spirit Series asked to be painted in August 2024. During that month, a song kept playing in my head, and I felt called to paint these loving whales' tails. I didn't know the song's name, but I laughed pretty hard when I discovered it was named Birth Dance of the Humpback Whale. It is impressive when songs convey so potently a spirit! And it was also entirely appropriate as I was giving birth to the in-person shop of My Tiny Sanctuary.

The whale spirit supported a smooth birthing process filled with love and support from the generations before me and the local community: that and the pack of positive emotions embedded with this series.
