Meet our Vegan Earrings with Turquoise Howlite! As I have more vegan friends, I wanted to create earrings they would happily wear. So, rather than using leather, I opted for a cork string, bringing the wood element to complement the mineral element of the turquoise howlite beads.

Howlite turquoise is often confused with genuine turquoise; however, it is a white and grey stone in its natural form. Bead makers appreciate its versatility and ability to be dyed to resemble other stones. Despite being used to imitate other stones, howlite possesses unique properties.
