The driftwood was collected on the shore of Aegina Island, close to our physical shop. In the winter, the waves bring fallen branches from the mainland (and plastic, too, unfortunately). Wandering by the beach and feeling called by Wood to aspire to a new life is so grounding and meditative.

The Peacekeeper driftwood incense burner took its time to reveal its final colours. Initially, it only wanted copper, but then it tried other colours before settling on black. I love the final result because the colour contrast gives it a strong presence.
