The Golden Cosmic Mermaid is made from fallen palm tree bark. I love working with nature. Collecting drifted wood and fallen tree bark offers a beautiful cocreation medium. First, the material is sublime to work with because it still has an imprint of the tree vibration. Often, they are the ones calling for one or another colour.
The Golden Cosmic Mermaid never got to experience the sea and its salt, so the bark was very smooth to work with. It leaves a sensual visual feeling of gold being applied to the skin.
While it inspired me with patterns, it didn't tell me its story, so it is yours only to unfold.
